Should you start a record label?
A couple of weeks ago, I was Googling some record labels and the question “Should I start a record label?” automatically came up in the search field.
I think it’s great that people are asking that question, and I think the answer is simple, of course you should!
If you do start a record label (or you already have one), here are a few things to keep in mind…
1. Be unique. Give your label an identity.
2. Be transparent. Don’t hide anything from the artists.
3. Be persistent. Be impatient with actions, but patient with results!
