Helping Artists Be More Prolific

Let's talk about why I think artists should be more prolific and how we as record labels can help encourage and coach them!

Here’s a great quote that inspired this week’s episode, “80% out the door is better than 100% in the drawer!”

Here are three reasons why I think artists should be more prolific…

1) We can’t control what fans respond to. Varying your releases provides you with more unique ways to connect with your audience. Not all fans are the same!

2) It exercises their creativity! At the very least, being more prolific will help artists hone their craft and help them gain a better understanding of what their audience enjoys.

3) High quantity does not equal low quality. Sharing more art doesn’t have to mean scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Fans will appreciate the authenticity and the opportunity to further engage with the artists they love.

I hope you’ve found this helpful and encouraging!
